Cats have homes! :)
[Update] We have found homes for Al's cats!
Al, a good friend of my sister’s passed away suddenly just this past week (at age 58) and he lived alone and had 2 cats, one of which we have found a good home for, and one of which- Jelly Bean, above, is still in need of a new home. If you know of anyone looking for a cat, or anyone willing to take in and foster a cat temporarily while we figure out a home for her, please let us know and pass the word to friends, family, co-workers.. Al adopted Jelly Bean from a no-kill shelter and we would really love to get her to a loving home since that is what he would have wanted- his cats were like his children.
Jelly Bean is a female, is about 12 years old. She is missing most of her tail from cancer found on her tail in 8/08. She is up to date on her rabies shots and we think she is spayed, since she was adopted from a no-kill shelter and most shelters have a policy to spay their cats. She is an extremely sweet cat, has been an indoor cat for at least half of her adult life (and has very soft fur!); she does have claws. She is a very much a people cat and was getting along well with another cat introduced to her as a adult cat, so has the potential to get along well with other animals.
Please pass the word and have anyone contact us if they are interested in adopting or fostering Jelly Bean. Thanks so much!!
