Galapagos - Bartalome and Black Sea Turtle Cove!!!

Another crazy good day in the Galapagos Islands on Day 6. We went to Bartalome Island, where the film Master and Commander was filmed. There is a pointed rock in the landscape that may be familiar to you if you have watched that movie. We climbed a lot of stairs and had a beautiful view of the Island. In the afternoon, we took a quiet paddle around Black Sea Turtle Cove and got to see many sea turtles up close (my favorite animal of this trip!!! :). It was late afternoon, with the light filtering through the trees of the mangroves. The crew cut the motors and it was super silent- so silent that we could hear the sea turtles take a breath when they came up for air! Such a beautiful memory of a beautiful place. This was my favorite part of the trip.
