Galapagos - South Plaza and Santa Fe Islands

Me, Char, Ketan and Conny with our crew on our last night.

Our last full day and night on the boat, we visited South Plaza and Santa Fe Islands. We arrived at South Plaza Island very early had a lot of pretty landscape of cacti and endemic red plants. It was beautiful and fun to see a sea lion nestled in the plants to keep warm. The iguanas were out and sunning themselves. There were an amazing amount of birds here and I loved hearing them and seeing them swoop down along the cliffs that lined the shore as we walked back to the boat. In the afternoon at Santa Fe Island, we visited a lovely sea lion-lined beach. :) Somehow, I never got sick of seeing the sea lions- they were so fun to watch. We learned that they are the most intelligent animals after dolphins. A little hiking and snorkeling ended our last full day in the Galapagos, just a typical day there... :)
